Pushing away, yet needing so much,
Sacrificing all for idealism you clutch.
Stupidity you thought you never caught
Now weighs you down, like tangled knots
Do yourself a favor: live,
Breathe deep,
take what life can give.
Eat, pray, love and repeat
for God’s sake, please,
Unshackle yee soul and findeth thy peace.
I might have to Google love,
To learn what it could mean,
I might have to take a pause,
To check my heart still gleams
I might have to soar alone,
To guard what I hold within,
I might have just become
the love I so deeply need
I have nothing to give today,
Life squeezed the light from me
I’m weak at the knees today,
Let me sink into deep sleep
Can I get a sweet dream today?
One were life treats me
Maybe bring me to bali today
Hope love come find me
Whether my rollercoaster be your smooth ride.

What is…
My rollercoaster is mine
Mine alone to ride.
The quicker I learn from the tide
The sooner I find:
I’m not tied
What once caused me to frown
Is now my merry-go-round
I’ve loved my dreams
What I’ve achieved
So high off the show
But the love for me, what’s there to show?
How did I love all more than my soul?
Chasing desires, a life to console..
And so now I seek a quieter grace,
To love myself in a boundless space.
