Have Grace

And so I dove deeper, into the core

to where it all began.

That bunkbed, dust heavy

 Next to the sheep’s

And there I lay,

the odd one out,

an open wound to stray bullets,

to silence louder than rejection.

They say it’s lonely at the top

But I know it was lonely at the bottom too.

Me myself and Irene

Irene, she’ll digress

Roses will cure her pain,

A Cinderella dress, will make her love again.

A sweet candlelight dinner,

Enchanté, Bordeaux red wine,

flowing like a river.

With grace, she‘ll ignore the mess,

Shes Just a pretty face, on the reign

All untrue, but let’s fuel the flame

Last day on Earth

Last day on Earth, a day well spent,

Every day worth dying for the expense

The sun’s a paid actor, heaven-sent.

The moon’s invited to our barbecue, To-let

Sun dresses for my man, love our fav scent.

Children running, it’s cute

they’ve been here before, before you

Life’s treasures at full deck, marriage jewels.

Beneath the ocean’s gentle sway,

Gray head, sunglasses, we watch the play.

A big fat smile, like a ray

grooving to this cosmic joke on replay

Every moment precious, beyond compare.

Last day on Earth, what a dream we chase,

Living each day with a joyful embrace.
