Building Rom Vol.123

Selling Love Potion

I wanted you to taste my love, so we meet,

But you chose the shortcut, quick and discreet.

The spark from down under, a fiery lust,

While I offered more than mere wanderlust.

I gave what you couldn’t yet fathom to take,

Out of impatience, a gift, though my heart did ache.

Did I practice grace, or was grace meant for you?

Hoping virtues would come when the Spirit withdrew?

Perhaps, when I least expect, with quiet devotion,

The keeper will come for a rare love potion.

No Nintendo Game

One day all this will fade and pass,

This is now, your moment to amass.

This is you, you are here, alive,

Cleopatra reigned, in her prime, she thrived.

Now it’s you, your time, your light,

Living here, before the night.

Thérèse once stood here free to fight

Now it’s you and your dreams

Everything is happening through you for you with you, as you are witnessing Gods gifts

Alone United

You did it alone,

with so little support,

Imagine your strength

with a tribe as your fort.

What fires ignite

when you all unite,

When voices rise,

your path alight.

What of the weak,

who came in flocks?

Sheep gathering,

 to build you blocks?

Trying to dim, all that you stock?

Afraid to see your spirit lift up?

And those who doubted,

your craft, so long ?

Will they leap in joy,

with newfound plea?

Shan’t they beg to sight, you pleased ?

Shan’t they dance for joyous glee?

<pause>

Salvation is the key

It lays beneath your feet

You met the sheep’s for a high fee

They show you why you came to this feast

Wait

There’s a first time for everything,

When a toddler starts to walk,

The first taste of pleasure’s sting,

Your billion-dollar talk.

Studying divine timing’s to turn it,

For when your big day cometh,

But then It’s not your time for things unsaid,

But it’s my time to write.

It’s not my time to be heard,

But it’s my time to be seen,

It’s not my time to be loved in words,

But it’s my time to love serene.

When you ask God for love so true,

Sent! The broken to mend,

Are you ready to take them in, too?

Or are you waiting for the wrong one
